DOH Launches 10th Malasakit Center in JBL Hospital

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – To provide further assistance to many poverty-stricken patients and their families, the Department of Health, along with the PCSO and PhilHealth, has launched the 10th Manalasakit Center in the country at Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital, City of San Fernando Pampanga last Oct. 08, 2018.

The inauguration was graced by Sec. Bong Go, Special Assistant to the President, Sec. Michael Lloyd Dino, Presidential Asst. for Visayas, top executives of DOH, PhilHealth and PCSO, Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, Vice-Gov. Dennis Pineda, Pamp. Board Members, Mayors of different cities and municipalities in the province, honorable guests and media outlets.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, an advocate of public health himself, also attended the occasion and expressed his support for the program.

The Malasakit Center is a one-stop-shop for processing the documents needed by the patients who seek for medical assistance in the province.
