MABALACAT CITY – Mayor Crisostomo Garbo started the final week of June with a cheerful laugh as he greeted the MCG employees during the Flag Ceremony today, June 25, 2018 at Xevera, Tabun, Mabt. City.
In his remarks, Mayor Garbo gladly announced the plan of the Mabalacat City Government to establish a Maternal and Child Care Center which will cater to the medical needs of pregnant women and newborn babies. The said center will house an operating room, delivery room, and a recovery room for pregnant women. Aside from such, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), also known as an intensive care nursery (ICN) will also be established for ill or premature newborn infants.
The local chief executive also urged the MCG Employees to help in informing the public about the services offered by the LGU through the distribution of flyers and word-of-mouth. This is to ensure that every Mabalaqueno knows about the MCG programs and the benefits they could avail.
