MABALACAT CITY – To further help the reformed drug users in the city in renewing their lives, the MCG-City Social Welfare and Development Office led by Josephine Tanglao, distributed Nego-Kart packages to 24 graduates of the MCG Reformation Center, earlier today, Aug. 03, 2018 at Xevera Lot Only, Tabun, Mabt. City.

The said Nego-Karts were accompanied with fishball products and cooking supplies which will be used to support their livelihood. These were given to those who have surrendered during the Oplan Tokhang and have completed the reformation program of Mabalacat City.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo met with the recipients prior to the distribution and encouraged each to avoid returning to their old ways of living, and instead, use this opportunity to renew their lives and correct their mistakes.

The Nego-Karts are under the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Program of the CSWDO. Each package costs P25,000-P30,000. Some of the beneficiaries also reportedly received P10,000 financial aid from the DSWD before the said provision of karts.
